Jomsom-Muktinath Trekking is not only the heaven for adventure seekers, it is also the paradise for those seeking inner peace. This adventurous trip begins from Kali Gandaki River into the World’s highest region passing along  barren landscape, a steep rocky trail up and down hill. On the way of our trail passes through picturesque Gurung settlements and continue through dense rhododendron forest to climb Poon Hill at dawn for spectacular views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.Trekking around Jomsom reveal Tibetan Buddhist monasteries perched on ridges, the holy Hindu pilgrimage site of Muktinath.The major attraction of this trekking area visit to Muktinath temple (Hindu pilgrimage temple), Tatopani (natural hot spring) and Ghorepani poon hill (a magnificent sunrise view point in whole Annapurna region).The overall experience of this trekking is truly unique and fun filled and one that every adventure enthusiast must enjoy at least once.

Jomsom Muktinath trekking is an amazing route that starts from Pokhara and ends at Jomsom Muktinath. It can be done any time of the year except during the monsoons [July & August].The Jomsom Trekking is a classical trek, where the final third of the Annapurna Circuit, follows the Kali Gandaki Valley between the soaring peak of Annapurna I (8091m.) with her range & Dhaulagiri (8168m.) along with her range. That is why it is declared as the deepest gorge in the world. The Trekking area is equally important for its religious importance. Thousands of Nepalese and Indian Hindu pilgrimage pay their homage to the Muktinath temple every year. The Trekking area situated on the dry, desert- like Tibetan Plateau. This trek allows access to the high mountains of the Himalayas within a reasonable timeframe and without ascending to adventurous altitude.
Major Attractions: The living Tibetan Buddhist culture, Himalayan Ranges including Dhaulagiri 8168m. the 6th highest mountain of the World the great mixture of Hindu and Buddhist tradition and culture. The deepest gorge in the world is worth to enjoy.

Day 1 :

Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport. Welcome by our representatives and transfer Hotel.

Day 2 :

Drive to Pokhara by Private Vehicle or Fly to Pokhara. It will be better to fly 
during the Monsoon season that is May - August as the Highway will be in 
the poor condition. Tour of Fewa Lake and lakeside in the evening. O/ N
stay in the Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 3 :

Take the breathtaking flight to Jomsom passing all the Annapurna Ranges. You will land just behind the Dhaulagiri (8168 m.) in the lap of Nilgiri. Start trekking towards the great town Kagbeni following the Kaligandaki River. Visit the 500 years old Buddhist monastery in the town . Overnight stay in the Lodge in Kagbeni.

Day 4 :

After Breakfast Trek toward the Muktinath temple. You will climb this day and Lunch in Jharkot. Visit Muktinath Temple in the evening and overnight stay in the Muktinath. This is the place situated in the lap of the Great Thorong La which is the major and challenging attraction of the Annapurna Mandala Trekking.

Day 5 :

Muktinath to Marpha 2670m passing Jomsom where the airport is situated with the connection to Pokhara .Jomsom is the capital of Mustang district with the government offices. The Eco museum serves here with the collections of Mountains. Marpha is the village of the Thakali peoples the local inhabitant and the apple garden and apple product is the most popular around the area.

Day 6 :

Trek to Ghasa 2010 m. Ghasa is small town near the Kaligandaki River and popular for the bird Watching. The trail from Marpha to Ghasa taken as the deepest gorge in the world. Because the mountain Annapurna I 8091m. and Dhaulagiri 8168 m. high on both Sides of the River making deep valley.

Day 7 :

Ghasa to Tatopani 1190m. “Tatopani” literally means hot water in Nepali and there is the natural hot spring with the small bathing pool. You can enjoy the hot spring pool and relax after long walking for the day.

Day 8 :

Trek Tatopani to Ghorepani 2850 m. Tatopani to Ghorepani is all the way up. This will long way up to in the villages.

Day 9 :

Climb up to Poon Hill 3210 m. early in the morning will take approximately an hour to view the sunrise and the Mountains including the Annapurna South 7219 m., Fishtail 6993 m., Himchuli 6441 m., Other Annapurna Ranges, Dhaulagiri 8168 m. and its range. After the breakfast trek down to Tikhedhunga 1577m. The trail is in the jungle of the Rhododendron the national flower of Nepal.

Day 10 :

Trek to Nayapul for 3 hrs along the river Bhurundi and then drive back to 
Pokhara through the curves road. Tour around the lake, rest and relax in 
city after 07 days in the mountain.

Day 11 :

Return back to Kathmandu or join other programmes as Rafting / Royal Chitwan Safari or else.

Day 12 :

Transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
