Trailblazer Travels and Tours offers you the itinerary starting upon your arrival till the day your departure from Nepal. One of the representative from our company will assist you for day tour You will have a guided day tour in Kathmandu then you take drive to Pokhara (P.S Can take flight to Pokhara). Our actual trekking starts after we arrive to Pokhara and from Pokhara we trek toPhedi. From there we move to Deurali, and then trek to Didding Village and finally return backto Pokhara in the end.

Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel:

• Arrive at Kathmandu via International flights, at airport one of our representative wait for you will meet you and pick you up.
• You will be transferred to your respected hotel; after refreshment you can explore the streets around your hotel.
• In the evening the dinner will be served in authentic Nepalese restaurant and overnight stay at hotel

Day 2Leisure day sightseeing in Kathmandu and nearby:

Today is our leisure day here at Kathmandu, so right after the breakfast, we will go for sightseeing tour in Kathmandu and nearby. Throughout your tour, you will be escorted by one of our professional guide, he will take you mostly to the centre of attraction esp. the World heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhu, Pashupatinath Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bouddhanath Stupa.During our tour you will get time to shop things needed for trekking and we will be back toy hotel for overnight.

Day 3 Drive or Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara 6 Hours:

Early morning, we drive to Pokhara encircling with the scenic view of green forest, hills and along flow of Trishuli and Marsyangdi river, which are known for good rafting too till we reach. During our journey we can have the view of Manaslu peak and the Ganesh Himal. As Pokhara is well known place for tourist as it encompasses the natural and cultural heritage, it enthrals you with the lakes, caves, stupas, temples and many breath-taking mountains, where you can have lifetime experience. Driving for 6 hours takes us to Pokhara. You are much Welcome to the place of beautiful lakes which will make your long journey a worth one. Overnight stay at hotel nearby lakeside.

Day 4Drive to Phedi and trekking to Deurali:

We will start our trek, after a short drive to Phedi, right after finishing our breakfast at hotel. This will be your initial trek where you came across the stone steps, ridged fields and the serene villages. Dhampus is our stoppage to have lunch, from there few hours of trekking lead us to Deurali.

Day 5From Deurali to forest camp:

We will start our trek right after having breakfast. Our trail goes through the through After having breakfast at lodge, you will start your trek for today, the trail today passes through lavish green forest with rhododendron too. Here you will have time and also chance of exploring the surrounding once we reach and check into the lodge. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 6Forest Camp to low camp:

As usual we start our trek today after having nice breakfast at the lodge.We will go along the trail towards the Low Camp, where you will encounter with the mesmerizing view of Machhapuchhre(Fishtail) towards up and down the valley. Our overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 07Trek to high camp from Low camp:

We begin our trekking today after having breakfast, on our trail we will get to view the enthralling Annapurna South and Himchuli. Our trekking path carry on along the Mardi Himal ridge, and along the trail we also have some fortuitous to come across the beautiful milieu of insulated rhododendron forest and lastly we succeed to place ourselves at High-Camp, the final terminus of the trek. Our overnight will be at lodge

Day 08Trek from High camp to upper viewpoint and back to high camp:

As usual after the breakfast, we initiate our trek to the view point to enjoy the magnificent views of Himalayas like Mardi Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Singhachuli, Machhapucchre, Baraha Shikhar, Tent Peak and many other stunning mountains. We will return back after being glorified by watching the splendid mountains to the high camp. Our rest of day is leisure so can enjoy on your own, and overnight is at lodge.

Day 09Trek from High camp to Sidhing Village:

As soon as we finish our breakfast we will start our trek, this time our trekking route from High camp will be different, which will take us to Sidhing village. This will be novel experience for us as we are in first-hand trekking trail from pervious common trails.
Our overnight will be at lodge.

Day 10Trek to Lumre and drive back to Pokhara:

We will trek towards Lumre after the breakfast, walking through the route, right after meeting the road we then drive back to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara we have free days where we can enjoy exploring Pokhara on our own. Our overnight stay will be at Pokhara hotel.

Day 11Back to Kathmandu from Pokhara:

Early morning our journey towards Kathmandu starts via bus, throughout travelling we can experience the rural settlements, terraced lands, green landscapes around and many beautiful sceneries. We will reach Kathmandu spending approximately 6 hours. Overnight stay at Kathmandu in respected hotel.

Day 12Final departure:

Today is your last day in Nepal, one of the representative from Trailblazer Travels and Tours will transfer you to Tribhuwan International Airport for the final departure. Mardi Himal Trekking FAQs

01On what shape do I need to be, and how can I proceed this trip?

Mardi Himal trek is for normal people who are reasonably fit, that means no need to have experience before. Before starting the trek, we suggest you to be more concerned towards fitness by running, swimming, and short hiking as well.
If the person is suffering from any medical complexity, he/she must seek for the medical advice/consent prior planning of the trek. As trek is an adventurous journey so it is pretty common that one might suffer health problem, before that you must acclimatized yourself.

02After my arrival at airport, who will come to pick me up?

One of the representative from our company Trailblazer Travels and Tours will be there at Airport to pick you up and her will transfer you to your respected hotel.

03What is the visa procedure in Nepal, is it on arrival or I need to apply before my journey?

The visa procedure is very easy here. You will get visa on arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport. 30 days’ multiple tourist visa and more can be obtained accordingly the payment.

04What kind of documents should I bring?

You need to bring your passport, copy of your travel insurance and pass port sized photos.

05Can you please let me know about accommodation in Kathmandu, Pokhara and within the trekking route?

The accommodation in Kathmandu, Pokhara and within trekking is of good standard. We will provide 3 stars’ hotels room in Kathmandu and Pokhara. And along the trekking route there are pretty good teahouse and guesthouse with maximum facilities with hygienic and tasty food. The clean bed, bedsheets and blankets will be provided.
You can even have sleeping bags if needed, but it is better to have one’s own sleeping equipment during trek. The lodges/guesthouse provide single and double room. At teahouse/guesthouse the food will be cooked by experienced cooks with concept of hygienic one, tastier and different menus.

06Are there toilet facilities within tea house /guesthouse along the trek? And what kind of facilities are there?

Yes. There are good toilet facilities as some teahouse have western styles of flushing toilets yet toilets in higher altitude can squat toilets but clean and having ceramic basin.
Mostly there are good toilet facilities provided by teahouse/guesthouse but sometime in emergency case you just sit wherever you find comfortable along the trail.

07Can I get separate rooms within the trip? What will be the cost for that?

It depends on the availability, if the room is free you can have private room and we do not charge extra for that but normally throughout the trek the rooms are provided on sharing basis and there can be hall styled room available too.
In Kathmandu and Pokhara we can guarantee the single room but during trek in mountains it is not guaranteed.The cost of the rooms too depends on the kind of hotel and facilities you own.

08Are foodshygienic along the route, what kind food can we get, can we expect them to be of certain standard?

There is no compromise on customer’s health. So most of the teahouse(lodges) along this Mardi route, serves the hygienic food with high range of delicious foods with variety. The foods we serve is mostly vegetarian one. Potatoes, eggs, typical Nepalese cuisine: dal, vat, tarkari, soup, bread, green salads and vegetables.
The food is served with certain standard; you can have foods on your chose too. Yu can always be served with tea, hot lemon drinks, soft drinks, chocolates and chips. Our guide will assist or suggest you to stop at good place to have better food that helps you keep you fit, immunize and healthy during trek.

09Is being Vegetarian a problem during trekking? How are the drinking water facilities?

It’s not a problem at all, rather it is good to be vegetarian during the trek. Mostly the lodges serve vegetarian foods and we too recommend you to have vegetarian foods to get rid from food poisoning, as the risk will be high to get sick mostly stomach problem having non-vegetarian food.
The water facilities are good. You can even have bottled water easily within lodges and teahouses. The price differs as new ascends along the trail. The bottled water costs from 1$ to 4$ regarding the elevations.
Apart from that you can have normal drinking water, but you need to have purification iodine and tablets while staying in Pokhara and Kathmandu.

10Will you let me know the best season for trek?

The best season to trek is from the mid of the September to May. As the monsoon starts to drop from early September, so by the end of September the weather is mostly fine and stable. So from September to May the time is best to trek.

11Do we have electricity facility along the route, where I can charge my electronics and electrical appliances?

Yes. The electricity facilities are available in most of the places. Some lodges have solar in high altitudes that can fulfil your needs too. So to charge your electronics and electrical devices isn’t a problem during trek. However, one thing you need to do is to bring the travel adapter/charger to make yourself easy during the trek.

12Are there any possibilities to extend my trekking?

Yes. There is always a possibility of extending the trekking. But there are some conditions you need to apply. We can add your day asper your request with additional costs for guides, porters, accommodation and meals.
